The company as a no-refund policy and all payments, deposits or monies collected towards a trip are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless otherwise specified. Travel protection insurance is not required, but is strongly encouraged to protect the travel investment. The Customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this policy. Policy Update: A $200 cancellation fee will be due If you decide to cancel your trip, this fee is required to terminate your current travel agreement and cease any further installments on your payment plan.
It's important to note that refunds will not be issued for any payments already made, as all transactions are final and non-transferable. We highly recommend securing travel insurance to safeguard your investment. The Customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this policy.
Black Therapists Travel advises all travelers to review the entry requirements of their destination country through the official government channels. Each traveler is personally responsible for ensuring they meet all necessary entry criteria. Black Therapists Travel will furnish entry requirements to trip participants no later than six weeks prior to the departure date.
Black Therapists Travel will not issue refunds or allow transfers for any participant who fails to meet entry requirements for any reason.
By participating in travel and activities organized by Black Therapists Travel, travelers grant the company the right to capture photographs, record videos, and/or utilize social media posts featuring the traveler. This permission extends to before, during, and after the travel and activities. Travelers authorize Black Therapists Travel, its employees, contractors, and assignees to copyright, utilize, and publish these materials in both print and electronic formats for lawful purposes such as publicity, advertising, and social media content. Travelers release the company from any expectation of privacy or confidentiality regarding such content.
Travelers acknowledge that they will not receive financial compensation for the use of their likeness in promotional materials and release Black Therapists Travel from any liability associated with the use of their image or identity.
All deposit and payments made to Black Therapists Travel are non-refundable and non-transferable due to contractual agreements with vendors. Deposits and all payments are non-refundable regardless of the purchase of travel insurance.
Travelers understand that Black Therapists Travel acts as an intermediary for travel services provided by independent vendors. The company is not liable for any failures, delays, losses, or damages resulting from the services of these vendors.
Participants waive any claims against Black Therapists Travel for injuries or damages incurred during the trip or related activities. Guests are responsible for any damages to property and must ensure its restoration to its original condition.
Travelers agree to comply with all relevant laws and regulations in the countries they visit, accepting responsibility for any legal issues they encounter. Black Therapists Travel is not liable for any legal consequences faced by travelers.
Payment Plans
Travel customers are responsible for completing all required payments for their selected trip. Prices are subject to change until price of the trip has been paid in full. Travel Insurance is ALWAYS suggested but not required to protect your vacation investment. If you are on a payment plan, travel protection will not be added until your last payment is received. If you are a part of the Roommate Matching Program, you are required to sign the roommate contract and are responsible for the payments associated with your agreement.
Travelers must provide accurate registration information and adhere to payment deadlines. Changes to reservations may incur fees, and modifications after the final payment date are subject to additional charges. Payments are accepted ONLINE via credit cards and debit cards that are VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, DISCOVER. Payment conditions are as follows; payment must be made on your reservations every thirty days. On the thirty-first day you will receive a late payment notice, and all late payments will incur a $50 fee due on the thirty-second day. An additional $100 fee will be added if total payment (original payment and late fee) is not covered on the forty-fifth day. On the sixth day you will receive another late payment notice stating that you have twenty-four hours to make a payment on your reservation. On the sixty-first day at 8am you will receive a notice that states that if you do not make a payment today by 5pm EST your reservations will automatically cancel and all monies that have been paid will be forfeited. If you would still like to attend the trip following a cancellation, there is a $200 reinstatement fee, and ALL payments pass due must be paid in full to date AND you must re-enter into a new reservation agreement.
Cancellation Policy
A $200 cancellation fee will be due If you decide to cancel your trip, this fee is required to terminate your current travel agreement and cease any further installments on your payment plan. It's important to note that refunds will not be issued for any payments already made, as all transactions are final and non-transferable. We highly recommend securing travel insurance to safeguard your investment. If you have cancelled trips excessively (more than once) and/or have not completed one or more payment plans you may be deemed ineligible for future payment plan options. This may also result in you being banned from private communities and events of Black Therapists Travel as well.
For travelers with trips scheduled within the next 6 months or those participating in our roommate matching program who have already been paired, cancellation may necessitate the payment of the remaining balance or any adjustments due to changes in roommate arrangements, in accordance with our roommate matching policy.
Group Travel Expectations:
We expect every customer to behave appropriately according to the settings and customs of the countries that we travel to. No customer will be permitted to remain on a trip in which they have become disruptive or causing others to feel uncomfortable. Customers who do not follow these expectations and disrupt group harmony, you will be dismissed from the trip with no refund, and you will be responsible for your transportation back home.
Accommodations:
Black Therapists Travel seeks to accommodate disabled travelers in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. While efforts will be made to provide reasonable accommodations, some tour features may not be accessible to individuals requiring mobility assistance. Travelers must inform Black Therapists Travel of any accessibility needs before booking.
